ALBEN-100 ORAL

Composition: 

10% Albendazole.

Product Features:

1. Adopt nanotechnology suspension and solid dispersion technology to fundamentally solve the problems of albendazole's poor water solubility and low absorption rate;

2. Increase bioavailability. The nanotechnology suspension  technology significantly increased drug solubility and oral absorption rate. Studies have shown that its relative bioavailability is several times higher than that of ordinary suspensions. Fast acting and long lasting effect. Nanoparticles are easier to disperse and absorb, act quickly, and can release the drug continuously, enhancing the anthelmintic effect;

3. Good stability and uniformly distributed. Excellent emulsification performance ,no settling, uniform drug distribution and can avoid  the risk of underdosing or toxicity caused by sedimentation. 

Usage and Indication: 

Sheep

Nematodes:

Gastrointestinal nematodes: Ostertagia spp. (including inhibited larvae), Haemonchus spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Nematodirus spp. (including Nematodirus battus), Cooperia spp., Oesophagostomum spp.

Lungworms: Dictyocaulus filaria.

Flukes: adult Fasciola hepatica.

Tapeworms: Moniezia spp.

Cattle

Nematodes: Gastrointestinal nematodes: Ostertagia spp. (including inhibited larvae), Haemonchus spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Cooperia spp. (including inhibited larvae), Nematodirus spp., Oesophagostomum spp., Bunostomum spp., Chabertia spp.

Lungworms: Dictyocaulus viviparus.

Flukes: adult Fasciola hepatica.

Tapeworms: Moniezia spp.

This product also has ovicidal action, capable of killing fluke and nematode eggs, thereby reducing pasture contamination.

Dosage and Administration:

Sheep:

Deworming dosage: 1ml product per 20 kg body weight (equivalent to 5.0 mg/kg body weight of albendazole).

Combination dosage for liver fluke and deworming (for chronic fascioliasis): 1.5ml product per 20 kg body weight (equivalent to 7.5 mg/kg body weight of albendazole).

Do not recommend to use for treatment of acute fascioliasis in sheep.

Cattle:

Deworming dosage: 3.75ml product per 50 kg body weight (equivalent to 7.5 mg/kg body weight of albendazole).

Combination dosage for liver fluke and deworming (for chronic fascioliasis): 5ml product per 50 kg body weight (equivalent to 10.0 mg/kg body weight of albendazole).

Precautions:

1. Do not use the combination dosage (7.5 mg/kg body weight) on ewes during the breeding season and within one month after rams are removed.

2. Do not use for humans, dogs, or cats.

Withdrawal Period:

Sheep:

Meat and viscera: 10 days.

Milk for human consumption: This product is prohibited to  use in sheep for milk of human consumption.

Cattle:

Meat and viscera: 14 days.

Milk for human consumption: 72 hours.

Storage:

Store in a dry, light-protected place at 5~25°C, keeping the original container tightly closed.
